In short
- One-time crypto top-ups. No subscription.
- Failed runs are refunded as credits.
- Results are kept 7 days; your Library keeps up to 200 items.
- Don’t use DER to harm people or break the law.
01Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and DER.run (“DER”, “we”, “us”). They cover der.run, the studio, the DER API and the MCP server.
02Your account
DER is only for people aged 18 or older.
You need an account to generate. You can sign in with Google, with your email and a password, or with a browser wallet. Keep your sign-in, your password and your API keys safe — anything done with them counts as you.
You can delete your account yourself under Account in the studio. It happens right away and can’t be undone: we delete your sign-in methods, sessions and API keys, your email or wallet address, and your files, results, Library, AIdols and trained voices and avatars.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
03Credits and payments
Credits are what you spend in DER: 1 credit = $0.01. You buy them with one-time crypto payments. There is no subscription and nothing is charged automatically.
Every run shows its price in credits before you start it, and the credits are set aside when it starts. Credits don’t expire and can’t be moved to another account. Your tier (Free, Pro or Max) goes up with your total top-ups and never goes down.
If a run fails, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically.
Top-up credits are non-refundable once they’re bought, and they can’t be turned back into cash.
If something went wrong with the payment itself — you sent too little, too much or on the wrong network — email support@der.run with your order ID and we’ll sort it out.
The Refund Policy has the details.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to use DER to:
- Harm, harass, threaten or exploit anyone.
- Break the law or anyone else’s rights, including copyright, privacy and a person’s rights to their own image and voice.
- Make sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises minors.
- Swap faces, heads or outfits, or copy a voice, using photos, videos or recordings of a person you don’t have the right to use.
- Pretend to be a real person, or pass off generated content as real to deceive people.
- Attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits.
Some models can make adult content. They’re only available in the studio after you confirm you’re 18 or older, and the rules above still apply.
We may stop runs, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
05Your content
You keep the rights to what you upload and to your prompts. You give us permission to store and process them only to run your jobs, deliver your results and keep the service working.
Your prompts and files go to the provider of the model you choose (see Third-party models below). Only upload what you have the right to use.
06Generated results
The results you generate are yours to use, including commercially, within these terms and any limits set by the model’s provider.
AI results can look like results other people get, so we can’t promise they’re unique. You’re responsible for how you use and share them.
Face, head and outfit swap results are marked as AI-made inside the file.
07How long we keep things
Results and uploads are kept for 7 days, then deleted automatically.
Anything you keep in your Library stays until you remove it — up to 200 items.
A character’s main photo stays until you delete the character. Download anything you want to keep longer — once a file is deleted, we can’t bring it back.
08Third-party models
Many models in DER are run by other companies. Their availability can change, and a model may be paused or removed without notice.
The same prompt can give different results each time, and a model’s provider may refuse some requests.
09Disclaimers and liability
DER is provided “as is” and “as available”. AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable, and we don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, DER.run isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law doesn’t allow to be limited. Disputes about these terms are handled under the applicable law.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as DER changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version, and we’ll say so on the site before an important change takes effect. If you keep using DER after that, the new terms apply.
