How long are the songs?

Usually one to three minutes. The model decides the length; there is no length setting.

Can I use my own lyrics?

Yes. Paste up to 8,000 characters of lyrics, or describe the song in up to 2,000 characters and let the model write them. Use one or the other, not both.

Can I make instrumental music?

No. The music model always sings, so every song has vocals. You can ask for a male or a female voice.

Why do I get two versions?

Every request returns two takes on the same song, so you can pick the one you like or keep both. Both come with one request.

Can I use the music commercially?

Under our terms of service you own the songs you generate, subject to those terms and to the terms of the model provider. Check both before you use a song commercially.

Can I generate music with the API?

Yes. Text to music is available over the API and the MCP server, with the same credits.
